Etaules             Rated 5 stars by the Regional Tourist Authority

 

Our house in Etaules has been extensively modernised to offer every comfort. The custom made kitchen is fully equipped with every appliance we could put in it. It is done in an attractive Charentaise style but with a very modern feel.

 

There are three spacious bedrooms, two with king sized beds and the third with two single beds.

 

There is a  bathroom with a bath/shower  and also a shower  room.

 

The swimming pool is 4.5 metres wide and 9 metres long with a maximum depth of 1.8 metres at the deep end and 1 metre at the shallow end. The pool has a pool alarm and is fully enclosed with a secure fence and a lockable gate.

 

The garden is 1400 sq. metres and is designed for children to play in, there is a swing and  a see-saw and it is fully enclosed making it safe even for small children.

 

There are several boulangeries within 1 Km and a small shopping centre with supermarket, butcher, newsagent etc. in the town centre.

 

The beaches  are about a 10-15 minute drive away and if you cycle through the Marais, La Palmyre is only about 30—40 Minutes away.

 

There are several excellent restaurants in the adjacent villages which   welcome children and in Etaules there is a Pizzeria which has been recommended by quite a few of our guests from last year.

 

The local Bistro offers a nice meal at reasonable prices. It has become a very popular eating place for local people and is highly recommended.
